We are honored to be entrusted with a significant and meaningful project as a prime contractor with the United States Marine Corps. Our mission is to locate and connect with descendants of military members who were lost in past wars. This important effort aims to honor their legacy and ensure that their stories and contributions are remembered and preserved.
As part of this initiative, you may receive a phone call from our team. We understand that receiving calls from unfamiliar sources can be concerning. Our organization has been directly contracted by the Marine Corps to conduct this outreach, and we are committed to handling this process with the utmost respect and sensitivity.

Important Notice
in relation to the Gualala Cemetery
The Gualala Cemetery, is a pioneer cemetery located on property previously owned by the Gualala Mill, known today as Mill Bend. The property was purchased by the Redwood Coast Land Conservancy who has meticulously restored the cemetery.
As part of this project, Anchored Genealogy was entrusted with research to identify previously unknown decedents, learn about the personal history's of known decedents, and locate / identify descendants of those buried in the cemetery. If you were contacted by us in relation to this project, we would love to hear from you.
This project was awarded a 2024 Grant from The American Society of Genealogists, which is supporting continued research on the project.
