The Gualala Cemetery, is a pioneer cemetery located on property previously owned by the Gualala Mill, known today as Mill Bend. The property was purchased by the Redwood Coast Land Conservancy who has meticulously restored the cemetery.

 

As part of this project, Anchored Genealogy was entrusted with research to identify previously unknown decedents, learn about the personal history's of known decedents, and locate / identify descendants of those buried in the cemetery. This project was awarded a 2024 Grant from The American Society of Genealogists, which is supporting continued research on the project.
